Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons glutinous rice flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon rose water
  • Cinnamon for garnish
  • Roasted pistachios finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Place rice flour and milk in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat, whisking constantly to prevent clumping. When mixture has thickened, add sugar and rose water and whisk until sugar has dissolved. Divide salep between 2 mugs and garnish with cinnamon and pistachios.
