Cocktail challenge: Mulled Wine Affogato
What inspired your creation? I wanted a way to incorporate leftover red wine into a warming fall treat.
What is your favorite part about working in the Portland F&B scene? I love the creativity and top-notch quality that is across the board here. We are blessed to have this stage to work upon.
What is your cocktail ethos? Making drinks that are surprisingly delicious.

4 drinksIngredients
- 1 bottle red wine
- 6 ounces crème de cassis
- 6 ounces cranberry juice
- 1 tablespoon mix of warming spices cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, etc.
- sliced citrus or berries for garnish
Instructions
- Cook all ingredients together on the stove or in a crockpot until simmering. Add to a cup and top with a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
