In early October, Freeport, Maine, will come alive with vibrant energy as the community celebrates the 25th Annual Freeport Fall Festival. From October 4-6, this beloved event, hosted by Visit Freeport, will welcome more than 225 artists, makers, and local food producers to showcase their talents in the heart of town.
What began as a modest gathering of local artisans has blossomed into one of New England’s largest and most beloved fall festivals. The event sprawls across multiple venues, including the L.L.Bean Discovery Park, the Mallard Parking Lot, Freeport Village Station, the green space at 22 Main Street and 135 Main Street, offering attendees a chance to immerse themselves in art, music, food, and family-friendly activities.
A Showcase of Local Talent
This year, the festival promises something for everyone. Art lovers can browse through a dizzying array of handmade goods, from ceramics and textiles to woodworking and jewelry, all crafted by New England’s finest artisans. Attendees can meet the makers behind the pieces, learn about their creative processes, and take home one-of-a-kind treasures.
For food enthusiasts, there are 8 food trucks and dozens of Maine food product producers. Local food producers will be serving up some of the state’s most delicious offerings, from savory farm-to-table fare to sweet treats made with love. Whether you’re craving a lobster roll, artisanal cheese, or baked goods, there’s something to satisfy every palate.
Live Music and Family Fun
